About the Role
Advantage Health Africa is seeking a reliable and experienced Dispatch Rider to join our growing logistics team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to improve healthcare access by ensuring that medical supplies, documents, and customer orders are delivered promptly, safely, and professionally. Key Responsibilities- Deliver packages, documents, and orders promptly and safely to designated customers and locations.
- Pick up items from company hubs and ensure accurate, timely dispatch to required destinations.
- Confirm customer details and delivery information prior to completing transactions.
- Handle all items with utmost care to ensure they reach recipients in pristine condition.
- Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries, returned items, and collected payments.
- Communicate effectively with operations teams regarding delivery statuses, delays, or route challenges.
- Follow optimized delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the workday.
- Collect payments where required and reconcile all cash collections accurately.
- Keep the assigned company motorcycle in optimal working condition and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Comply strictly with all Nigerian road safety regulations and internal company policies.
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Must possess a valid motorcycle riding license.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a Dispatch Rider or Delivery Rider.
- Extensive geographical knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes.
- Proficiency in using Google Maps and other digital navigation tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily delivery targets.
- Must be punctual, reliable, physically fit, and highly responsible.
