We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing Sciences to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of professional practice within our multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Nursing Services department, aligning nursing practices with the hospital's mission of excellence.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care across all hospital units.
- Collaborate with hospital management to develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor nursing staff, promote continuous professional development, and foster an environment of academic and clinical excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and institutional policies.
- Manage departmental resources effectively and participate in multidisciplinary committees to advance patient safety and hospital operations.
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSC) degree from a recognized institution.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification cognate experience in a reputable healthcare or hospital setting.
- Mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated ICT compliance and proficiency in using digital healthcare systems.
