About the Role
S-TEE Schools, established in September 1978 by Madam S. T. Lawal with an ultimate goal to develop human capital, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Digital Technology Teacher. In this role, you will inspire students to explore computer studies, utilize cutting-edge educational technology, and achieve academic excellence within a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop in each student an interest in and the ability to understand and utilize knowledge of Computer Studies.
- Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons to students across varying classes, utilizing modern learning technology.
- Oversee the provision of relevant and up-to-date advice and support for pupils regarding the subject.
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabi and courses in line with related educational resources.
- Maintain full and accurate records of students' academic achievements and progress.
- Keep up to date with curriculum changes, reforms, and IGCSE standards.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Plan for, provide, and maintain physical resources necessary for learning, including books, equipment, and digital file shares.
- Collaborate with other departments and undertake additional roles within the wider school environment as required by the Principal.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, with specific IGCSE teaching experience required.
- Strong practical knowledge and skills in delivering interactive technology lessons to students.
