About the Role
Dabitos Schools, a reputable private co-educational learning institution located in Ilasamaja, Mushin, Lagos, is seeking a passionate and tech-savvy Digital Technologies Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the digital literacy of our students, equipping them with essential 21st-century technological skills from the foundational crèche level up to our secondary school classes. We are looking for an innovative educator who can transform complex technological concepts into exciting, accessible, and practical lessons for young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive digital technology and ICT lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Introduce students to fundamental computer operations, coding, digital citizenship, and relevant software applications.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain a well-managed, safe, and stimulating computer laboratory environment for all students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate digital tools and technology across various subjects and school activities.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within a structured school environment in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in computer programming, web design tools, educational software, and general hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a genuine passion for youth education.
