Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily digital publication workflow, ensuring rapid and accurate updates to the online edition every 30 minutes.
- Optimize web content, articles, and special reports for search engines (SEO) to maximize online visibility and audience reach.
- Collaborate with editors, reporters, and multimedia teams to package news stories, interviews, and investigative reports effectively for digital audiences.
- Monitor web analytics and audience engagement metrics to drive data-informed content strategies.
- Ensure compliance with digital publishing ethics, copyright laws, and brand guidelines across all platforms.
- Supervise social media distribution channels to amplify reach and foster interactive community engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in digital publishing, content management, or online journalism.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices, Content Management Systems (CMS), and digital analytics tools.
- Strong editorial judgment with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian media landscape, economic sectors, and business news is a strong advantage.
