About the Role
Millie's British International School (MBIS), a premier educational establishment following the British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, is seeking a creative, reliable, and proactive Digital Media & Communications Officer. This is an on-site, hands-on content creation role based in Nigeria, where you will actively capture the vibrant daily life, achievements, and unique learning experiences of our pupils to engage current and prospective families.
Key Responsibilities- Produce attractive graphics, marketing materials, and professional designs using Canva.
- Capture high-quality photographs and record engaging school activities, events, and everyday classroom moments.
- Edit dynamic short-form videos and Instagram/Facebook Reels using CapCut.
- Manage social media channels, develop weekly content calendars, and write compelling captions.
- Ensure consistent brand identity and monitor basic digital engagement metrics.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library while strictly adhering to school safeguarding and privacy policies.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in social media management or digital content creation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Canva, CapCut, mobile photography, and social media platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing real-world content creation, video editing, and graphic design skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and interact comfortably around young children.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 180,000 based on experience and portfolio.
