About the Role
Uniccon Group is building Africa's economy through innovative technology solutions. We're seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to establish and manage our growth engine, owning paid acquisition, organic growth, and retention marketing across multiple channels and platforms.
Your primary focus will be driving cost-effective user acquisition and maximizing revenue through strategic campaign management, data-driven optimization, and lifecycle marketing initiatives tailored to African mobile-first consumers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and optimize targeted paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn with budget management focused on CPA, CAC, and ROAS optimization
- Manage App Store Optimization (ASO) on Google Play Console and App Store Connect, alongside on-page SEO and keyword strategies
- Map user journeys, identify conversion bottlenecks, and deploy automated retention campaigns via email, SMS, push notifications, and WhatsApp
- Establish comprehensive event tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and UTMs; build Looker Studio dashboards demonstrating channel ROI
- Support B2B growth initiatives through targeted landing pages and enterprise client outreach campaigns
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-4 years of hands-on digital and performance marketing experience, preferably with African tech startups, fintech, or SaaS companies
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio
- Experience with Google Play Console, App Store Connect, and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp) and WhatsApp API integration
- Strong data-driven mindset, resourcefulness in startup environments, and deep understanding of Nigerian mobile-first consumer behavior
