About the Role

Headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, we are currently seeking a skilled and results-driven Diesel Generator Service Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy-duty generators for our esteemed clients. In this strategic role, you will lead our technical teams, drive service revenue, and ensure exceptional operational standards across all client sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and overhaul of heavy-duty diesel generators ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 KVA.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor service technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough load audits, site inspections, technical assessments, and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
- Prepare accurate estimates for generator installations, repairs, and associated technical services.
- Handle branch-level warranty issues promptly and ensure timely closure of job cards within company policy.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert technical support and driving branch service revenue.
- Travel to various customer sites for inspections, installations, and client meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar service or technical management role within the power sector.
- Strong hands-on expertise working with heavy-duty diesel generators (1,000–4,000 KVA), particularly CAT and equivalent brands.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul engines across various capacities.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Prior experience with solar power solutions will be considered an added advantage.
