Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after haemodialysis treatments.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot dialysis equipment while responding promptly to treatment-related complications.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, vascular access, and overall patient response throughout the procedure.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, medications, nutrition, vascular access care, and lifestyle management.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure strict compliance with infection prevention, sanitation, and patient safety protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a haemodialysis unit, preferably within a tertiary or specialist hospital.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Relevant specialized dialysis or renal nursing qualification or certification.
- Proven competence in assessing and managing arteriovenous (AV) fistulas, grafts, and central venous dialysis catheters.
- Strong clinical assessment, patient-care, and interpersonal communication skills.
