About the Role
BlueCoral Healthcare Services (BCHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Nurse to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional renal care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during dialysis treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Check and record patients’ vitals before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Ensure hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered correctly and safely.
- Monitor patients continuously during procedures to identify and respond to adverse reactions promptly.
- Evaluate patients’ lab results and prepare or update comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with dialysis technicians to ensure machines and equipment are properly set up and maintained.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease management, treatment options, nutrition, and exercise regimens.
- Refer patients to dieticians, social workers, or vascular access centers as required.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Nursing with a valid Nigerian nursing license.
- Proven clinical experience working as a Dialysis Nurse.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) certification is a strong advantage.
- Outstanding bedside manner with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
