Growth in Value Alliance (GVA Partners) is a premier business advisory and recruitment services firm. We are currently looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will champion a security-first mindset, bridging the gap between security, development, and operations teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures for our enterprise clients in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on technical expertise and support in general DevOps and DevSecOps tasks.
- Define and implement build, deployment, and monitoring standards within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to deliver end-to-end automation of deployments and infrastructure management.
- Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD pipelines using modern tools.
- Create scripts and templates to automate infrastructure provisioning, management, and system efficiency.
- Oversee the company and client security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions alongside developers.
- Mentor junior infrastructure engineers and evangelize secure development practices.
- BSc or MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Java, Python, Ruby, YAML, SAST, and DAST.
- Strong experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS.
- Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux environments.
- Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, TCP/IP, and application stacks like Tomcat, JBoss, and NGINX.
- Strong scripting skills in shell, Python, Go, Ruby, and Groovy.
