About the Role

Corona Management Systems (CMS) is a social enterprise providing technical and management support to health, education, and social development programs across Nigeria. We are looking for a skilled DevOps and Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the robust infrastructure that powers our digital products and data-driven initiatives. You will work at the intersection of development and operations to automate processes, optimize cloud environments, and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and highly scalable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure across major cloud platforms.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using modern Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, actively responding to incidents and conducting root-cause analysis.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and deployment workflows.
  • Strengthen security practices across all infrastructure layers, managing access controls and vulnerability remediation.
  • Document architecture, operational processes, and runbooks to ensure cross-team visibility and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, cybersecurity principles, and Linux system administration fundamentals.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack.
