You will serve as the primary technical interface between the project team, client, regulatory authorities, and construction groups to deliver sustainable, cost-effective, and constructible rail solutions. Key Responsibilities- Lead, coordinate, and review multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for the railway project.
- Develop and manage the overall design schedule, ensuring timely submission of packages to the client and engineers.
- Ensure seamless integration between civil, structural, geotechnical, architectural, MEP, signaling, and telecommunications designs.
- Manage design interfaces, resolve complex engineering issues, and drive value engineering opportunities.
- Act as the primary focal point for all design-related communications with stakeholders, including the Federal Ministry of Transportation and lenders.
- Implement rigorous design quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with ISO and environmental standards (ESIA, ESMS).
- Provide ongoing technical support during construction, managing RFIs, design clarifications, and site engineering issues.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil, Railway, Structural, or Transportation Engineering (Master's degree is a distinct advantage).
- Mandatory COREN Registered Engineer certification with active professional membership.
- Minimum of 15 years of general engineering experience, with at least 10 years in major infrastructure and 5 years in railway, metro, or large linear projects.
- Proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary design teams within EPC and Design-Build contract frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in BIM, digital engineering tools, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and railway design software.
