Kimberly Ryan is recruiting on behalf of a leading financial institution for a dynamic Deposit Mobilization Officer in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead strategies to attract, grow, and retain deposit liabilities, creating a dramatic business advantage for our esteemed client.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective deposit mobilization strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to significantly increase the bank’s deposit base.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong, profitable relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate bodies, and institutional clients.
- Manage and monitor existing deposit accounts to ensure high retention and continuous portfolio growth.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design, launch, and evaluate deposit-focused promotional campaigns.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Ensure all mobilization activities strictly comply with regulatory requirements and internal bank policies.
- Represent the organization at high-profile business forums, trade fairs, and networking events to promote financial products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in deposit mobilization, business development, or relationship management within the Nigerian financial services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage a strong professional network and relationships with potential deposit clients and institutions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
