About the Role
Retrust Microfinance Bank, a proud subsidiary of Zylus Group International, is rapidly expanding its footprint in the Nigerian financial sector. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deposit Mobilization Officer to join our high-performing team in Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our deposit portfolio by engaging high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and entrepreneurs with tailored microfinance solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Mobilize financial deposits and investments from individual, corporate, and high-net-worth leads to meet and exceed aggressive portfolio targets.
- Identify untapped market segments and new business opportunities to expand the bank's active customer base.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, key stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Execute effective sales and marketing strategies to promote our suite of competitive financial products and services.
- Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of emerging industry trends in the Nigerian microfinance space.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures for KYC on all transactions.
- Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in deposit mobilization, liability generation, and HNI transactions within the Nigerian financial services sector.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding deposit and investment targets.
- Deep understanding of retail and corporate banking products, financial services, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal, sales, and marketing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and compliance.
