Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, gums, and related oral structures to diagnose diseases, injuries, and malformities.
- Provide appropriate dental treatments, including fillings, root canals, extractions, and periodontal treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, preventive dental care, and proper dietary habits affecting dental health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient dental records in compliance with state healthcare standards.
- Supervise dental nurses, hygienists, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Participate in community outreach programs and public health campaigns focused on dental awareness.
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
- Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience in a reputable hospital or dental clinic.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and patient management skills.
