About the Role
Orofacial Dental Practice is a highly-rated, multi-specialty dental clinic based in Abuja, Nigeria, known for providing comprehensive and premium oral healthcare services. We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Dental Therapist to join our growing team across our Abuja locations and contribute to our high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine scaling and polishing, deep cleaning, and root planning to prevent and treat gum disease.
- Apply topical fluoride, fissure sealants, and perform teeth whitening procedures.
- Prepare cavities and place direct fillings for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Administer local anesthesia safely and take intraoral dental radiographs as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Dental Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active registration and valid practicing license with the relevant regulatory board.
- Current Basic Life Support and CPR certification.
- 1 to 3 years of post-internship clinical practice experience.
