Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and dental therapists during patient consultations and treatment procedures
- Take, develop, and manage dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and safety compliance
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following aseptic and infection control protocols
- Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
- Provide post-treatment oral care instructions to patients following surgical and dental procedures
- Manage dental equipment and supply inventory maintenance
- Perform office administration tasks including appointment scheduling, patient communication, and billing
- Conduct patient follow-up calls to ensure treatment success and satisfaction
- Participate in community health outreach activities promoting preventative oral care
- Diploma in Dental Health Technician or Dental Surgery Technician
- Current registration with the Dental Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Computer literacy for office management systems
