About the Role
Rovedana is simplifying staffing, staff management, and payroll administration for businesses of all sizes, with a mission to provide a first-class experience for employees. We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced Delivery Van Driver to join our logistics team in Oyingbo, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations by ensuring the safe and timely distribution of gas products directly to our valued customers while maintaining top-notch vehicle standards and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver gas products promptly and safely to designated customer locations while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Provide basic product knowledge and technical support to customers regarding safe gas handling as needed.
- Operate the delivery van efficiently on scheduled routes while ensuring the vehicle remains clean, functional, and well-maintained.
- Assist warehouse operators with the secure loading and unloading of gas cylinders.
- Manage van inventory, conduct daily stock reconciliation, and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of daily sales, customer visits, and comprehensive delivery logs.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional driving and delivery experience within Lagos State.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and extensive knowledge of Lagos routes and distribution channels.
- Proven ability to competently drive both manual and automatic vehicles, specifically mini buses and delivery vans.
- Strong sense of responsibility, strong work ethic, and dedication to safety compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
