We are dedicated to delivering top-quality agricultural products processed under the highest hygienic standards. We are currently looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to join our logistics team and ensure our fresh farm produce reaches our customers safely and promptly across designated routes in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate and maintain company delivery vehicles in full compliance with Nigerian traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods, farm produce, and equipment to specified locations efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, performing basic maintenance and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan and navigate the most efficient delivery routes to optimize travel time and minimize fuel consumption.
- Safely load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and secure storage to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor while delivering excellent customer service to clients and vendors.
- Keep accurate daily logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including licenses, insurance, and roadworthiness certificates, remain valid and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain and logistics team to streamline distribution operations.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license with at least 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record demonstrating a strong commitment to road safety and no history of major traffic violations.
- In-depth knowledge of local routes, road conditions, and traffic regulations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
