We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Defective Team Leader to join our growing supply chain operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing customer returns, optimizing warehouse workflows, and ensuring meticulous inventory accuracy within our defective warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the receiving, reconciliation, and exclusive inventory management of all items within the defective warehouse.
- Ensure proper quality and defect checks are executed on each item to ascertain customer claims and accurately categorize damages.
- Maintain precise, up-to-date inventory records strictly limited to defective warehouse stock and ensure timely system logging.
- Prevent inventory losses through continuous process monitoring, tracking, and physical storage management of items in transit.
- Drive performance management, including appraisals and training of the warehouse team on inventory processes and system improvements.
- Escalate inventory discrepancies or operational roadblocks to senior management within appropriate timeframes.
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Must possess an NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption letter.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, order management, or FMCG environments, with background in quality control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with high precision accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.
