About the Role

Operating from our office in Lekki, Lagos, we provide a secure, seamless ecosystem for getting work done efficiently. We are currently looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our growing technology team and safeguard our critical data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, configure, and maintain robust database systems ensuring high availability.
- Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and maintain rapid response times.
- Manage comprehensive backup, recovery, data integrity, and security policies.
- Implement strict access controls and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance, patching, and version upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide technical support to internal teams.
- Maintain thorough documentation, technical reports, and operational standards.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proficiency in MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and related database management platforms.
- Strong command of SQL, database security protocols, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, and third-party management tools.
- Relevant professional database certifications are considered a strong advantage.
