We are currently seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, constructing, and managing the architectures and pipelines that transform raw data into actionable intelligence for the social sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design, construct, test, and maintain robust data architectures and pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data systems with organizational objectives.
- Optimize data flow and collection processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
- Implement data security and compliance policies to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and pipeline failures.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to support complex analytical requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and ETL processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
