Dr. Peter Odili Cancer & Cardiovascular Hospital (POCCH) in Port Harcourt is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team of world-class healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, and analyze complex clinical, operational, and financial datasets to support executive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for hospital management and medical departments.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, treatment outcomes, and hospital resource utilization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses, and administrators to identify workflow efficiencies and data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with local and international healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Conduct predictive modeling to forecast patient admission trends, disease prevalence, and resource allocation needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or medical research sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex statistical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining medical confidentiality.
