About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading and reputable name in the Nigerian beverage production industry, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Dairy Milk Line Operator. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing our state-of-the-art automated production lines, ensuring our dairy beverages meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Remotely monitor and control the fully automated dairy production line including pre-treatment, batching, pasteurization, UHT, and CIP via SCADA/DCS systems.
- Strictly execute product recipes and monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and fermentation curves to guarantee batch-to-batch consistency.
- Identify system alarms promptly, execute emergency adjustments on the control panel, and coordinate with on-site floor teams to resolve technical issues.
- Operate the automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) system to sanitize tanks and pipelines in compliance with strict dairy hygiene standards.
- Adhere to rigorous shift handover protocols, maintaining accurate production logs and ensuring smooth batch transitions.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Bioengineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fermentation, pre-treatment, or batching/blending within large-scale food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in computer operations with hands-on familiarity with DCS, SCADA systems, or industrial automation control software.
- Deep understanding of dairy or brewing processing technologies and central control operations.
- Aged between 25 and 30 years with the physical energy and resilience required for rotating shift schedules, including night shifts.
