T.O.N Corporate Services is seeking detail-oriented Cutting Officers to join our client's fast-paced production team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process by ensuring that all materials are measured, marked, and cut accurately according to strict specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Carry out cutting operations according to approved measurements, specifications, and work instructions.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately to required dimensions.
- Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and actively work to minimize material wastage.
- Inspect cut materials for defects and report any irregularities to the production supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout your shift.
- Follow all company production, quality assurance, and safety procedures consistently.
- Meet or exceed assigned daily production targets in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in cutting, production, tailoring, manufacturing, or a similar environment is a distinct advantage.
- Strong ability to work accurately with measurements, blueprints, and specific work instructions.
- Familiarity with various cutting tools and industrial equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high precision.
