About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools, a leading multi-level private educational institution in Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, is recruiting a dedicated Culture and Creative Arts Teacher. Our school provides comprehensive academic excellence across Nursery, Primary, and Secondary tiers, and we are seeking a passionate educator to enrich our cultural and creative arts curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging Culture and Creative Arts lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum
- Foster creativity and cultural appreciation among students across all educational levels
- Develop innovative teaching materials and assessment strategies
- Create a supportive learning environment that celebrates artistic expression
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate cultural education into school activities
- Mentor students and encourage participation in cultural programs and exhibitions
- Maintain detailed student progress records and provide constructive feedback
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in school management and teaching
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian cultural heritage and creative arts education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
