Key Responsibilities- Create comprehensive schemes of work and daily lesson plans covering art history, visual arts, music, drama, and local cultural heritage.
- Provide engaging practical instruction in drawing, painting, sculpting, local crafts, and design techniques while ensuring the safe use of studio tools.
- Identify and nurture individual student capabilities and talents in both performing and fine arts.
- Assess student projects, track skill progression, and maintain accurate academic records in line with school standards.
- Organize inspiring school art displays, cultural festivals, and drama presentations to showcase student creativity.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment while effectively managing creative materials and supply inventories.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Education, Creative Arts, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a structured school environment.
- Deep knowledge of both Nigerian and contemporary art curricula, teaching methodologies, and cultural heritage.
- Exceptional communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
