About the Role

We are seeking a talented Credit Portfolio Officer to manage credit portfolios, ensure portfolio health, and support our growth in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity while enabling access to affordable solar solutions for MSMEs, commercial, and industrial entities across Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage credit portfolios to ensure optimal performance and minimize risk exposure
- Conduct credit analysis and assessment of borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed portfolio reports and performance metrics for management review
- Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio quality and recovery rates
- Maintain accurate credit documentation and ensure compliance with lending standards
- Collaborate with collections team to address delinquent accounts
- Evaluate credit proposals and make recommendations based on risk assessment
- Track portfolio trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience in credit portfolio management or similar financial role
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and portfolio management tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of renewable energy or MSME lending is advantageous
