About the Role
Lendha is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Credit Officer to join our team in the LASU Ojo axis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our loan portfolio, acquiring new customers, and managing debt collection processes effectively. If you possess a strong drive for fieldwork, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for financial services, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end debt collection processes and develop viable payment plans aligned with company policy.
- Accurately maintain client records, oversee past due accounts, and determine appropriate collection actions via calls, emails, and physical visits.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delinquent accounts and accounts receivable status.
- Drive customer acquisition by promoting Lendha's quick loan products to prospective and existing clients.
- Support loan portfolio growth by ensuring proper credit appraisals and monitoring accounts to minimize outstanding debts.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in any discipline from an accredited institution.
- Must possess an NYSC discharge certificate or exclusion letter.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with the LASU Ojo axis and strong knowledge of the local territory and languages.
- Practical understanding of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
