About the Role
TAAS College, Ibadan, a reputable co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Crèche Coordinator to join our early childhood team. Located in a serene and conducive environment along Abeokuta Road, Ibadan, our school is committed to delivering exceptional care and foundational education. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our crèche, ensuring that infants and toddlers receive attentive, high-quality care in a secure and stimulating environment that aligns with our core values.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations and activities within the crèche to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate developmental activities and routines that foster early cognitive and motor skills.
- Manage, mentor, and support crèche staff to maintain high standards of professional care and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate daily records of children's feeding, sleeping habits, and developmental milestones for parent communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to child safeguarding policies, health regulations, and institutional standards.
- Build positive relationships with parents and guardians, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Nursing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated practical experience working in a crèche, day-care, or nursery school environment.
- Strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and child safeguarding standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Relevant professional certifications and teaching licenses will be an added advantage.
