Lantern of Knowledge International Schools (LKIS) is a prestigious institution dedicated to providing qualitative education across our Daycare, Creche, Nursery, Primary, and High School sections. We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and talented Creative Arts / Music Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Nigeria and help our students discover and develop their artistic potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Creative Arts and Music lessons for students across various age groups, from early childhood to high school.
- Develop a structured curriculum that covers visual arts, crafts, music theory, vocal training, and instrumental instruction.
- Encourage student participation in school productions, cultural events, art exhibitions, and musical concerts.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual artistic development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate arts and music into multidisciplinary school projects and events.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, B.A, or B.Sc in Music, Fine Arts, Creative Arts, Education, or a related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in creative arts or music within a recognized educational institution.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument and strong knowledge of visual arts techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
