About the Role
Ferscoat International Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Creative and Cultural Art Teacher to join our esteemed institution. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the artistic and cultural appreciation of our students, helping them discover and refine their creative talents within a supportive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Creative and Cultural Art lessons for students aged 10 to 16 years.
- Design a comprehensive curriculum that encourages artistic expression, cultural awareness, and practical skills development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to nurture individual artistic growth.
- Organize student art exhibitions, cultural events, and school productions to showcase student talents.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant discipline; a Master Degree is an added advantage.
- 2 to 9 years of proven teaching experience in Creative and Cultural Art within a recognized educational institution.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in modern educational technology tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- A deep understanding of Nigerian and global cultural arts and educational standards.
