About the Role
DESAC Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading indigenous oil and gas, engineering, and industrial construction company headquartered in Warri, Delta State. We are dedicated to delivering top-tier services covering oilfield operations, marine logistics, engineering, fabrication, and maintenance. We are currently looking for skilled and safety-conscious Crane and Swamp Buggy Drivers to support our expanding operations in challenging terrain.
Key Responsibilities- Operate cranes and swamp buggies safely and efficiently in swampy, rugged, and offshore oilfield environments.
- Perform pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure optimal mechanical condition and compliance with safety standards.
- Transport heavy materials, equipment, and personnel in accordance with project specifications and site guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, as well as industry regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate daily operational logs, noting hours of operation, fuel consumption, and any required maintenance issues.
- Coordinate seamlessly with rigging crews, project supervisors, and site engineers during lifting and transport operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or potential hazards immediately to the maintenance and safety teams.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent vocational training certification.
- Valid and current certification/license for operating cranes and swamp buggies in Nigeria.
- Proven professional experience driving heavy machinery within the oil and gas, construction, or marine logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of terrain navigation, load charts, and weight limits for swamp buggies and lifting equipment.
