About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, dedicated to helping critical industries streamline operations, reduce risks, and achieve their project goals. We are currently seeking three (3) driven and analytical Cost Engineers to join our dynamic team in Nigeria to drive financial control, budget forecasting, and contract compliance across our complex energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance in budget forecasting, strategic planning, contract execution, and regulatory compliance oversight.
- Establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation, and unique cost centers within the ERP system.
- Drive corporate Procure-to-Pay workflows, monitor contract value drawdowns, and maintain the department's commercial information database.
- Review contractor proforma invoices, generate official Call-Offs, and execute Service Entries to facilitate smooth invoice processing.
- Support budget and cost performance by attending meetings, producing reports, and issuing comprehensive monthly updates.
- Manage and control project schedules, ensuring efficient well cycle times and reporting daily progress to management.
- Groom younger staff for higher responsibilities to ensure effective succession planning within the engineering department.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related engineering discipline (Master's degree is preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in office-based engineering, cost control, and active field supervisory positions.
- Advanced mastery of ERP platforms (SAP/Microsoft Dynamics), Wellview costing modules, and complex financial modeling tools.
- Professional credentials such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly advantageous.
- Valid BOSIET and IWCF/IADC Well Cap Level certifications where applicable for field operations.
