About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing and outsourcing services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Drilling Engineer / Specialist III to join our dynamic operations and development teams. In this critical role, you will provide comprehensive engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up to ensure all drilling and well completion programs are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up required for safe and efficient drilling and well-completion programs.
- Ensure all well objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
- Deliver technical expertise on drilling engineering to both operations and development teams.
- Prepare detailed Drilling Basis of Design documentation, including Casing Design, Torque/Drags, and Hydraulics.
- Develop functional specifications and comprehensive scopes of work for various equipment and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance regional well construction performance.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive industry experience in well planning and execution.
- Prior experience with international assignments is strictly required.
- Demonstrated experience in deep water drilling operations is necessary if filling a deep-water specific role.
- Proficiency in industry-standard well design software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
