About the Role
Alaro City is seeking a professional, reliable, and skilled Corporate Driver to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by providing safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for our staff, clients, and visitors, as well as handling logistics for materials. You will navigate various types of vehicles, including buses, utilizing modern mapping tools to ensure optimal travel times. If you possess a clean driving record, excellent road knowledge, and a commitment to workplace safety, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Transport employees, clients, visitors, and goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations within and outside the city.
- Plan the most efficient routes using Google Maps and local navigation to avoid delays and facilitate timely arrivals.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance, servicing, or repair needs promptly.
- Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of assigned company vehicles at all times.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date logs of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents on the road.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and goods as required by operational needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining discretion, professionalism, and a comfortable environment for all passengers.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, SSCE, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean, verifiable driving record.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or structured environment.
- Proficient in driving various vehicles, including sedans and buses, with strong defensive driving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety protocols in Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Ability to use GPS navigation tools such as Google Maps efficiently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills with a punctual and dependable work ethic.
