About the Role
Robert Walters, a global specialist professional recruitment consultancy, is seeking an analytical and driven Corporate Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting rigorous credit assessments, producing thought-leading research, and building strategic relationships within the debt capital markets.
Key Responsibilities- Write in-depth, high-quality research on credit trends, focusing on corporates, sub-nationals, and non-bank financial institutions.
- Perform comprehensive fundamental credit analysis on a designated portfolio and present findings at rating committees.
- Monitor market developments to ensure all ratings remain accurate, reliable, and forward-looking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fixed-income investors, financial media, and senior corporate management.
- Enhance the company corporate franchise through proactive outreach and stakeholder engagement.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant credit or risk assessment experience within an investment bank, financial institution, regulatory body, or public accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of Nigeria's corporate sectors, regulatory environments, and key economic drivers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related relevant field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA are highly advantageous.
- Exceptional quantitative aptitude, analytical capability, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
