About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dynamic and experienced Coordinator, Managed Care Services to join our healthcare operations in Warri. In this pivotal role, you will lead the hospital's managed-care function, serving as the primary interface with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and retainership schemes to ensure exceptional enrolee service and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct day-to-day managed-care operations and cultivate strong strategic relationships with HMO and retainership partners.
  • Oversee seamless enrolee verification, pre-authorisation processes, and patient referrals within scheme guidelines.
  • Manage end-to-end claims preparation, submission, reconciliation, and follow-up to minimize rejections and revenue delays.
  • Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and proactively resolve any operational disputes with scheme partners.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure patient care remains evidence-based, cost-effective, and compliant with scheme rules.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop managed-care, clinical support, and customer experience personnel.
  • Track financial and operational performance metrics, reporting key findings and actionable improvement recommendations to management.
  • Champion the enrolee experience by driving efficient complaint resolution and retention strategies across the department.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in managed care, HMO liaison, or healthcare administration.
  • Possession of a relevant first degree in health sciences, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or presentation of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Demonstrated expertise in claims management, pre-authorisation processes, and hospital revenue-cycle optimization.
  • Proven track record of supervising teams and aligning clinical requirements with commercial objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
