About the Role
Christ The Redeemers International Secondary School, located in ChristHill, Sagamu, is part of the Christ The Redeemer's School Movement (CRSM), an educational arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Under the directorship of Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, we are committed to providing quality education and holistic development for our students. We are recruiting a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our food services team.
As our Cook, you will be responsible for preparing safe, nutritious, and appetizing meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our student body and staff. This role is essential to maintaining the health, satisfaction, and productivity of our school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare balanced meals daily in accordance with school dietary standards
- Maintain highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with suppliers for food procurement
- Prepare special meals accommodating students with dietary restrictions or allergies
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
- Follow established food preparation protocols and school nutritional guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of food costs and meal preparation
Qualifications
- First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional cooking experience in a recognized school or institutional setting
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and nutritional requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced school environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
