About the Role
Bukka Hospitality Limited, popularly known as Bukka Hut, is a leading fast-food restaurant chain renowned for serving exceptional Nigerian cuisine in comfortable and hygienic environments. Since our establishment in 2011, we have grown to become the restaurant of choice for lovers of local dishes across Lagos. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Cook to join our dynamic culinary team and help us maintain our high standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional Nigerian meals following established recipes and portion standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels, inspect ingredients for freshness, and report shortages to the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure prompt and efficient food delivery to customers.
- Minimum of an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of proven hands-on cooking experience in a professional restaurant, fast-food, or hospitality setting.
- In-depth knowledge of authentic Nigerian cuisine preparation techniques and recipes.
- Must reside within or close to our operational axes in Lagos (such as Lekki Phase 1, VGC, and surrounding areas).
