About the Role
Lexworld Hotels is a modern premium hospitality destination located in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. Strategically positioned near the western entry points of Aba, our property serves as an accessible sanctuary for travelers and business executives connecting with the industrial zones of Osisioma. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our dynamic culinary team and deliver memorable dining experiences to our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare high-quality, delicious meals in accordance with hotel recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards aligned with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to the head chef or management.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance of all culinary tools.
- Educational Qualifications: OND, HND, or B.Sc degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a cook within the hospitality industry.
- Must be computer literate with the ability to use digital kitchen management systems.
- Age requirement: 30 to 50 years old.
- Proficient in speaking and writing good English.
- Demonstrate exceptional personal hygiene, neatness, and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
