About the Role
Asamaka Industries Ltd is a premier engineering and technology firm dedicated to delivering specialized design and automation solutions to manufacturers across the automotive, waste management, agriculture, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and broader industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria and help drive innovation in industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test electrical control systems and automation architectures for diverse industrial applications.
- Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues on production lines to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate machinery, sensors, and robotics efficiently.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant Nigerian and international safety standards and industry best practices.
- Provide comprehensive technical documentation, user manuals, and training for plant operators and maintenance staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven professional experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and control system integration.
- Strong working knowledge of major automation hardware and software brands.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
