About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent industry leader with a legacy of excellence, is seeking a qualified and experienced Control Room Supervisor for our Premier Feeds Mill. In this vital role, you will oversee the identification and precise weighing of additives, medications, and micro-ingredients in strict accordance with approved production recipes. You will ensure accurate feed formulation, maintain optimal inventory levels, and supervise Production Officers to guarantee seamless and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operating, maintaining, and inspecting control room equipment used in feed production.
- Monitoring the storage, handling, and utilization of raw materials and micro-ingredients.
- Ensuring all additives, medications, and micro-ingredients used are in line with approved production recipes.
- Verifying that the correct production recipe is used for every product batch.
- Monitoring feed and ingredient inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
- Ensuring mill sanitation standards are maintained and sanitation schedules are effectively implemented.
- Communicating with the dispatch team to ensure feed availability for timely load-out activities.
- Confirming that medications are not substituted or mixed inappropriately during production.
- Supervising Production Officers and ensuring compliance with operational procedures and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate production records and promptly reporting any deviations or abnormalities to the Production Manager.
- B.Sc. or HND in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of cognate experience in feed mill operations or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Possess a strong understanding of feed formulation, production processes, and micro-ingredients.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong leadership skills.
