About the Role
Blythe and Junot Nigeria Limited is one of the largest manufacturers of detergent, sanitary, dental care, and household products in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and driven Control Room Operator to monitor and control our manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production operations across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control continuous production processes from the centralized control room.
- Operate PLC and SCADA systems, closely tracking critical process parameters.
- Ensure daily production activities meet rigorous output targets and strict quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report process abnormalities, equipment faults, and deviations immediately.
- Coordinate seamlessly with field operators, maintenance crews, and quality control teams.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and facilitate comprehensive shift handovers.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal safety protocols, environmental policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Support rapid troubleshooting efforts to minimize production downtime and optimize plant efficiency.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within FMCG, detergent production, or chemical processing.
- Demonstrated experience working with automated production systems will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
