We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced Contracting Management Advisor III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping major project contracting activities, driving effective commercial outcomes, and ensuring operational excellence across all contract administration lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust Contracting and Materials Management Strategies fully aligned with overarching project objectives.
- Support Contracting Strategy Workshops, evaluate various contracting alternatives, and optimize procurement pathways.
- Lead and support comprehensive contractor screening, pre-qualification processes, and bid slate development.
- Review detailed bid plans, evaluation criteria, and formal contract award recommendations to ensure maximum value.
- Provide strategic oversight for complex contract administration matters, including high-stakes claims and performance incentive plans.
- Mentor, guide, and develop junior contracts, EPC, procurement, and materials management professionals.
- Deliver specialized training sessions on contracting processes, rigorous bid reviews, and long-term contract strategy.
- Engage proactively with contractor executives, business partners, and affiliate teams to resolve strategic issues.
- Promote organizational lessons learned, continuous process improvements, and industry best practices.
- Proven extensive experience in contracts engineering, contract administration, or materials management within major industries.
- Demonstrated success in project leadership and the management of large-scale, complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is strongly preferred.
- Strong, comprehensive understanding of modern project execution and contracting principles.
- Expertise in high-level commercial negotiations, contractor management, and intricate contract administration.
- Previous working experience within owner or operator project management environments.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel or relocate to domestic and overseas project sites as required.
