About the Role
Are you passionate about creative storytelling and social impact? Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) is seeking dedicated Volunteer Content Creators to support our upcoming WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk and ongoing advocacy initiatives in Nigeria. Founded in 2014, MCF provides a vital support system for cancer patients, families, and caregivers, tackling the financial and emotional burdens of the disease through collective action. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our message, educating communities, and saving lives through compelling digital media.
Key Responsibilities- Develop engaging, empathetic, and culturally relevant content for social media platforms, blogs, and campaigns.
- Design eye-catching graphics, short videos, and promotional materials for the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk.
- Collaborate with the public health and communications teams to craft compelling patient stories and awareness messages.
- Monitor digital engagement and assist in optimizing content reach across various Nigerian online channels.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to formulate innovative digital strategies for cancer advocacy.
- Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, graphic design, video editing, or digital marketing.
- Passionate about public health, non-profit advocacy, and making a tangible difference in society.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a strong command of English (additional local languages are a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, and volunteer-driven team environment.
- Basic understanding of cancer advocacy or healthcare communications is an advantage.
