About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Consultant Paediatrics professional to join our esteemed healthcare network in Warri, Delta State. In this vital role, you will deliver specialist paediatric care across patient pathways, driving excellence in clinical diagnosis, treatment, and medical governance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and comprehensive management for routine and complex paediatric cases across out-patient, in-patient, and referral settings.
- Act as the senior point of escalation and referral, offering expert clinical guidance to medical officers and junior medical staff.
- Supervise, mentor, and actively support the training and professional development of trainees and resident doctors.
- Drive clinical governance, medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and rigorous patient-safety protocols.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, and HMO functions, ensuring evidence-based and cost-effective care.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with institutional policies and current regulatory standards.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Current, valid practicing licence and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in paediatrics.
- Successful completion of mandatory housemanship and NYSC (or valid exemption).
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex paediatric cases independently with sound clinical judgment.
