About the Role
The African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) Abuja is a state-of-the-art 500-bed specialty hospital committed to transforming healthcare across Africa through clinical excellence, advanced research, and education. Developed in partnership with Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a dedicated Consultant Family Medicine to provide exceptional, holistic healthcare to individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered medical care for acute, chronic, and undifferentiated conditions across all age groups.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans, preventive health services, and chronic disease management programs.
- Lead multidisciplinary team rounds, mentor junior medical staff, and foster a collaborative clinical environment.
- Coordinate specialized care referrals, implement telehealth solutions, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) while ensuring strict compliance with international clinical, ethical, and data privacy standards.
- MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree.
- Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
- Board certification or Fellowship in Family Medicine.
- Demonstrated expertise in preventive medicine, complex comorbidity management, and holistic patient counseling.
