About the Role

Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre (LECC) is a premier multidisciplinary cardiovascular and cardiac rehabilitation facility dedicated to delivering exceptional heart and vascular care through innovative invasive and non-invasive procedures. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Cardiologist to join our expert team of specialists in providing world-class cardiovascular healthcare in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
  • Perform and interpret relevant cardiovascular investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
  • Manage complex conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans ensuring evidence-based, patient-centred care.
  • Collaborate effectively with cardiothoracic surgeons, physicians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to medical officers, residents, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous professional development programmes.
  • Support the development and expansion of specialized cardiology services within the Centre.
Qualifications
  • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
  • Fellowship in Cardiology or Internal Medicine from a recognized professional body (e.g., FWACP, FMCPath, or international equivalent).
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-fellowship experience in clinical cardiology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular diagnostics and managing complex cases.
  • Exceptional clinical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and quality improvement.
